The perfect gift exchange just happened for me and my boyfriend. Though we haven't gone out for that long, it's been long enough to know what the other needs/wants in terms of gift items. You know how sometimes, the first significant gift exchange can be a bit of a disappointment…but this one was great! My boyfriend recently got a job promotion so I wanted to mark that by giving him a handsome new watch to wear, found one at watchsea24. He really appreciated my gift idea and style of watch I picked for him. Only a couple of days after that was my birthday. He showed that he was listening when I had mentioned a while ago that I wanted to get back into beading and how much I love handmade beaded jewelry. Turns out he got me a watch, too, but a gorgeous beaded one! Then also got me a starter kit to start making my own jewelry…and actually found some beautiful beads that would be complementary to the watch that he got me! I was impressed that he had selected beads that didn't compete with the watch, they really were tastefully complementary to it. So that's why I say this was a pretty successful first significant gift exchange…something to write home–or blog–about!
