Bead Jewelry Blog Party

Bead Jewelry Blog Party

Some bead jewelry designers and bead makers gathered online recently for what they called a Bead Soup Blog Party where those who participated revealed their creations. The Bead Soup Blog Party is also a swap meet in which beaders and jewelry makers are paired with one another and swap packages that include a focal bead, a clasp and coordinating beads.

This party was the idea of Lori Anderson, an East Coast designer with a jewelry line called Pretty Things. She hosts the party, collecting names of participants and pairing them up. She runs a blog called Pretty Things where you can get a feel for the beautiful pieces that were created by the 210 party attendees. Anderson is planning another party for the summer that is open to anyone who would like to participate.
